Brockville - Brockville's own Junior A team, the Braves,
teamed up with United Way to serve up some food and fun this February at
the Memorial Centre. Wide-eyed fans got a chance to meet and eat with their
favourite players, picked up some autographs, toured the players' dressing
room and
got to
test their shot against the venerable squad (and Brockville Police Service's
radar gun)!
For more pictures (including a sneak peek at the Braves'
dressing room), or to obtain higher resolution photos of those shown

That was a fast shot! |

Fans and Braves alike looked on as people took turns to
see how fast their shots were. |

This youngster has some good form. Thanks
to the Brockville Police for coming to measure everyone's shots. |

Here we see a member of Brockville Police Services using
his radar gun to measure the speed of oncoming shots on net. Those
taking part got a certificate showing how fast their shots were. |

This Braves fan made a great glove save! |
