Looking to Get Out of the House for an Evening?
Join us for a great evening out that includes hors d’oeuvres, decadent desserts, mini pampering services, a specialty cocktail, opportunities to win great prizes and much more. A silent auction will last throughout the evening, giving all attendees a chance to bid on items that any woman would love. Special celebrity guests will also be available for photos throughout the evening courtesy of Tom Doyle Photography.
On Thursday, May 22, United Way of Leeds and Grenville will be hosting a Desperate Housewives evening at the Brockville Memorial Centre, in Brockville on Magedoma Drive from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
A small live auction will feature a specialty gift package for each of our Desperate Housewives characters – Bree, Lynette, Susan, Gabrielle, and Edie. There is sure to be something that will appeal to everyone.
Pampering sessions include back massage, reiki, jewellery cleaning, bra sizing, interactive games, fashion designer eye wear, reflexology, cosmetic representatives, and lots of other interesting tables just for women.
Fashion Guru Sid Cratzbarg , well known from his guest appearances on CTV will be our featured guest. Sid will show you how to look like a million bucks on a budget. Sid is an expert on how to accessorize and how to add 'wow' to your looks. Sid’s complete line of accessories will be on display and for sale at the end of the evening.
Ticket holders will receive a keep sake martini glass donated by Hendrix with an opportunity to win various door prizes throughout the evening. There will also be a special draw held at the end of the evening for a piece of jewelry donated by The Jewel Box.
