Leadership Development Program

The Leadership Development Services is a branded United Way program that was developed by United Way of Canada with funding from the Trillium Foundation. The Leadership Development Coordinator along with the A-Team, a group of highly skilled Board members and Community Volunteers with an abundance of expertise, assist all not-for-profit agencies. These programs offer skill development workshops, group facilitation and consultation services to not-for-profit organizations. The LDS program offers both open and closed workshops at very low costs with subsidy available. An open workshop is open for all not-for profit agencies to register through United Way. A closed workshop can be delivered after an evaluation of an agency's needs has been discovered.

We are always looking for adult volunteers to help deliver workshops. People who have training through "Train the Trainer" would be an asset.
