Long-time community leader to provide volunteer leadership for United Way Leeds & Grenville's 2026 Hope Starts With You campaign.

Leeds & Grenville, ON — August 6, 2026
United Way Leeds & Grenville (UWLG) is proud to announce that Pamela Robertson has been appointed as the 2026 Campaign Cabinet Chair, continuing her outstanding commitment to building a stronger, more compassionate community across Leeds & Grenville.
A long-time supporter and advocate for community success, Pam brings not only leadership experience, but a passion for collaboration and impact.
"Every day, I see the incredible impact that collaboration has on our communities," says Robertson. "As Chair of the 2026 United Way Leeds & Grenville Campaign Cabinet, I'm honoured to bring that same spirit of partnership to this campaign. Together, we can make a real difference by supporting local programs that help our friends, neighbours, and families thrive."
The Campaign Cabinet plays a vital role in United Way’s annual fundraising efforts. As a volunteer leadership team, the Cabinet works closely with community leaders, workplaces, and donors to drive engagement, raise awareness, and secure critical funds that support more than 20 local programs and services in Leeds & Grenville. These programs address issues such as food insecurity, youth mental health, education, housing and more.
Joining Pam on the 2026 Cabinet are Jeremy Newman, Lorna Jean Edmonds, and Mary Tessier. Together, this dedicated team will lead the “Hope Starts With You” campaign for 2026—an initiative that emphasizes the power of individual and collective action to create meaningful, lasting change.
"We are thrilled to have Pam leading our 2026 campaign," says Ian McFall, Board Chair of United Way Leeds & Grenville. "Pam's passion for our community, collaborative approach, and commitment to helping others make her an exceptional Campaign Cabinet Chair. We're excited to work with her and the entire Cabinet as we continue to show that hope truly starts with all of us."
